What is the SkyJam Festival? For the past 6 years, Skytown has produced the SkyJam Festival, a family-friendly celebration raising funds for the school. Our 2017 SkyJam Festival will be on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at our scenic East Bay campus atop Kensington Hill. The SkyJam Festival has become an annual tradition in our community having over 350 families attend. We have live performances by local entertainers, gourmet food, beer & wine, games and activities for children, and an amazing Silent Auction!

About Skytown Preschool: Skytown Preschool is a parent cooperative preschool located in the East Bay community of Kensington for over 50 years. Our students range in age from 18 to kindergarten ready, with more than 35 families with different cultural background from Oakland, Berkeley, Kensington, Albany, El Cerrito and Richmond. At Skytown, teachers and parents work together to create a play-based, emergent curriculum. Our goal is to support the development of self-confident, self-aware, compassionate and empathetic human beings...and to have fun! In addition, Skytown’s unique approach to parent education ensures that the whole family is supported and nurtured.

Skytown Parent Cooperative Preschool is a 501c3 charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible. All the funds raised in SkyJam Festival will provide meaningful enrichment in the lives of children, funding basic needs such as classroom materials, facility improvements, and upgraded technology for our staff and teachers.
